What is Mz Judged?

The Mz Judged event is a satirical beauty pageant where the women are in fact men. This fundraising event supports social programs that work to end violence against women - all while raising awareness for this social issue. Mz Judged has been running in a couple of rural towns in Northern British Columbia for years and is expanding to more towns. The event sells out in minutes every time.

Mz Judged News

Smithers Mz Judged - November 5th 2016
Another amazing event! With over $50,000 raised for men's programs and a full house of supporters, Mz Judged brought laughter and tears to the audience. We were delightfully surprised with the quality of quite a few contestant sets. Stay tuned and sign up for the news letter to be notified when videos are up and as the documentary progresses.

Prince Rupert Mz Judged - October 16th 2015
Prince Rupert Mz Judged was a sold out show hosted at the Lester Centre. It was a fantastic show full of surprises and great talent sets.  View the trailer above and support the production of the Mz Judged Documentary!

Smithers Mz Judged- November 18th 2014
The Northern Society for Domestic Peace, which hosts the Smithers Mz Judged show has gained so much support over the years that in November 2014, the event raised over $50,000 to fund programs that help end violence agains women. One contestant alone managed to raise over $30,000!  In a town of 5,000+, the event sold out in seventeen minutes. The show’s talent varied from rocking it out in leather to a surprisingly good belly dancer, to the crowning winner Travis Hebert  local hip-hop artist and lead singer of Mob Bounce,  who blew away the crowd as he sung his deeply moving ‘stolen sister’ song to a Kanye West track.
